Role Responsibilities

To support Business Banking growth through partnership & alliance as well as GBA initiatives, including financial institutions with digital / internet / mobile lending platforms, eCommerce / online store operators, government departments (e.g., tax / custom authorities), Fin-tech companies and accounting software companies.


RESPONSIBILITIES*

Strategy*

  • Implementation of GBA initiatives to support the bank strategy.
  • Implementation of client segment strategies and program, campaign delivery.
  • Implementation of marketing initiatives, client communication, sales kit, CVP, marketing research
  • Leverage customer and performance analytics to determine segment strategies, effectiveness of relationship and performance management model deployed.

Business*

GBA Partnership & Alliances Management

  • Participate & Execute GBA strategy formation for Business Banking
  • Recommend and on-board agreed partnerships, implement segment offer, business case in the designated
  • Implement with GBA related marketing events, promotions, campaigns and marketing events.
  • To participate in GBA Strategic Planning & formation & execution.
  • To synergize GBA strategy with current business strategy to further achieve revenue, balance sheet, and operating profit targets.
  • To establish the fundamentals for the long-term performance of the business under GBA structure.
  • GBA investment and initiative management.
  • Full responsibility to close working with stakeholders to achieve expected delivery.

  • Ensure that the segment initiatives related processes are smooth and sound
  • Engage with frontline and product to ensure that the process at the execution level is sound and smooth

People & Talent*

  • Perform professionally as a team player to lead, co-work, or support in all Business Banking related initiatives
  • Enhance & multiply the quality & depth of direct reports in Business Banking family.
  • Drive performance through clear objectives via scorecards, KPIs

Risk Management & Governance*

  • Ensure effective and efficient operations without sacrifice on control and service quality. Continually look at opportunities for process improvements
  • Work with Compliance, ensure adherence to regulations particularly relating to BB segment and Alliance Management
  • Embed Here for good and the Group’s brand and values in the region/country
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures
  • Work effectively across SCB, using values behaviors to drive sustainable business growth

Key stakeholders*

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including BB PSD, BB Frontline, BB SSPM, CB&M, GBA, Compliance, Legal, S&T, MO, BRM, Finance, Group BB and IT... etc.

Other Responsibilities*

  • Accountable for the assigned alliances relationships and GBA related KPIs (number of clients acquired, business growth and P&L relating, timely delivery of the project).
  • Market intelligence on servicing SMEs. Recommend adoption where there is business case.
  • Represent at GBA / BB Segment forums, collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance SCB Business Banking market profile and presence
  • Understand, acknowledge and comply with the requirements on individual accountabilities and responsibilities of the job set out in applicable local laws and regulations as well as SCB internal policies
  • Effectively ensure and intensify internal controls by keeping abreast with developments of applicable local laws and regulations on accountabilities
  • Perform job duties with diligence, contribute to efforts as an individual or as a team member so as to avoid any actual or potential legal sanctions, regulatory penalties, material financial loss, or adverse reputational impact on the Bank
  • Be responsible for failure to follow relevant rules and processes, failure to properly perform the responsibilities, and implement corrections
  • Cooperate with any investigations or reviews on regulatory failure such as accountability review
  • Properly perform the duties on management and ensure the effectiveness of internal control
  • Be responsible for regulatory failure or risks arising from or in connection of the event over which the employee has the duties of management and/or leadership
  • Be responsible for significant losses due to failure of effectiveness of internal control

QUALIFICATIONS*

TRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Good understanding of digital landscape, relevant online banking technologies and products for application to SME users
  • Demonstrable capabilities in growing businesses and developing business using digital partnership / channels
  • Proven risk management capabilities
  • Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues
  • Demonstrated communication and engagement skills
  • Endurance, personal perseverance, strong self-motivation, entrepreneurial, problem–solving skills with flexibility, team player
  • Good social skills with in-depth network into relevant target market
